This exclusive collection of hand-crafted jewelry by Annie Zeybekoglu's showcases the artist's ability to transform natural materials into something dynamic, innovative and astonishing. Each piece in this collection serves as wearable art or, when displayed in its complimentary mirrored shadowbox, is transforms into fine art for display.  The acrylic box has a mirrored back, allowing the jewelry to reflect and shimmer, and is equipped with a cleat on back for hanging purposes.

 

SINGING THE BLUES is composed of tie dye handmade paper, matte medium, waxed linen thread, leather cording, and brass findings. The artist's process enhances the functionality and preservation of the delicate material and effortlessly blends nature and design.  Due to the unique process, each piece is truly bespoke with slight variations in form.

 

Born in New York City, Annie Zeybekoglu has been a mixed media painter, book artist, and jewelry designer for over thirty years.  Her award-winning work is in collections in Boston, New York, Turin, Istanbul, Hungary, and Poland.
